Chandigarh : After setting the ball rolling for the second leg of ‘Coffee with Capt’, the Punjab Congress will be taking its senior leadership to all the 117 Assembly constituencies over the next five months.

Tagged as a ‘mega outreach campaign’, Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee (PPCC) president Capt Amarinder Singh will be spending a day in each of the 117 constituencies.

The schedule of the campaign has been worked out by a political strategist hired by the party for Punjab and UP. The PPCC will undertake a rigorous tour-cum-interactive session with the electorate in each constituency.

“The campaign aims at refreshing the memory of the voters regarding the works done by Capt Amarinder Singh during his last tenure. As it has been nearly 10 years, many of the first-time voters may not be able to connect immediately with Capt Amarinder Singh and the party. We are working on this core aspect,” said those engaged in designing the campaign.
