SAS NAGAR: As part of his mass contact program --- Halke Vich Captain, Punjab Pradesh Congress president Captain Amarinder Singh would hold a public meeting in Dera Bassi today.

“During his mass contact programme, Captain Amarinder Singh on Thursday would spend an entire day in the constituency through different modules designed to engage with public, party workers and local influencers,” said Congress leader Deepinder Dhillon.

Captain will hold ‘Lokan da Darbar’, where he will listen to the grievances of the residents and is likely promise to set up a task force to address the noted issues within the first 100 days of his government, if elected to power.

After this he will hold meet with party workers, supporters, office-bearers and members of the frontal organisations.

Captain then will hold a meeting with local influencers, where he is likely to engage with locally renowned individuals for instance sarpanch, professors, doctors, businessmen, farmers, advocates, among others, to get a more comprehensive understanding of specific issues.

“Captain would hold a similar programme in Kharar on June 27, while in SAS Nagar it is slated to be held on July 16,” shared Balbir Singh Sidhu, MLA, SAS Nagar.
