AMARINDER SAYS POSTERS SHOWN BY KHAIRA ON SATURDAY WERE FAKE, AAP LEADERS MASTERS AT FAKING THINGS

FATEHGARH SAHIB: Punjab Congress chief Captain Amarinder Singh, on Sunday, condemned the sacrilege allegations made by Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) spokesperson Sukhpal Singh Khaira.

Speaking to mediapersons at Deewan Todar Mal hall, here, Amarinder said the posters shown by Khaira in a press conference on Saturday were fake.

“They are masters in faking things,” said Amarinder, who was here to attend the bhog ceremony of late Kartar Kaur, mother of Fatehgarh Sahib MLA Kuljit Singh Nagra.

Amarinder said AAP leader Ashish Khetan had committed blunder while comparing his manifesto with Guru Granth Sahib and now his party was just trying to divert the issue to hide their own mistakes.

“They should have noticed by this time that people of Punjab are done with Kejriwal,” he added.

The Punjab Congress chief claimed that his party was the only ray of hope for the people of Punjab. “The people are in trouble and Congress is the only one who can help them in getting rid of it,” said Amarinder.

Meanwhile, other Congress leaders, including AICC spokesperson Randeep Singh Surjewala, Punjab affairs incharge Asha Kumari, Rajya Sabha members Ambika Soni and Sahmsher Singh Dullo and leader of opposition Charanjit Singh Channi refrained themselves from speaking to the media.
