NEW DELHI: The Election Commission of India on Wednesday selected famous Punjabi singer and actor Gurdas Maan (in pic, right) as the state icon for the 2017 assembly polls.
A spokesperson said Maan’s main role will be to motivate the youth of Punjab to get enrolled as voter and do ethical voting.
