All the leaders, during their speeches, categorically criticised the SAD-BJP government. They further advised the workers to make individual contact programme in the district and make the public aware about the misdeeds of SAD-BJP government and should re-count the achievements of the Congress to the public during the regime of Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh and Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh in the Centre and be prepared for 2017 assembly election so that Congress should come into power with a thumping majority.
The leaders also criticised Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) for playing with the sentiments of all religions, especially Sikhs and further said that their senior leaders are lacking the knowledge of the Punjabi culture and their manifesto was a bundle of election tactics as well as misleading to the public because their failure in their isolated state of Delhi was quite apparent and half of their leaders were facing trials for one reason or the other.
