LUDHIANA: Aam Aadmi Party’s (AAP) senior leader Gurpreet Singh Ghuggi slammed SADBJP alliance for allegedly playing politics of divide and rule during a rally at Dana Mandi, Salem Tabri in Ludhiana East constituency on Tuesday night.
Ghuggi accused the BJP and SAD of doing politics of religion by creating hatred among the different communities to create their vote bank even at the cost of prevailing strong social fabric in the society.
The ‘Badals’ have damaged the state through corruption and drug trade, he lamented.
He said that thousands of youth had lost their lives because of drugs. Badal’s government was shamelessly denying even any drug problem in Punjab, he alleged.
He slammed the SAD-BJP government for allegedly making rampant corruption and patronising different kinds of mafias, including drug mafia, land mafia, transport, sand and gravel, cable mafia, recruitment.
Attacking the Congress, Ghuggi said that people still remember the big scams committed during the tenure of Congress at the Centre and former chief minister Captain Amarinder Singh’s family was facing inquiries and court trials on charges of corruption and foreign illegal transactions.
Speaking on this occasion, councillor Daljit Singh Grewal said that Badal government had created a complete mess in the state by indulging in rampant corruption and spreading drugs in all parts of Punjab.
He claimed that every section of society was fed up of the SADBJP government.
