Hoshiarpur : The SAD-BJP alliance in the state has taken over the sand, gravel, transport sectors and were now killing the youth with narcotics.

This was stated by IYC chief Amarinder Singh Raja Warring while addressing a rally organized by Hoshiarpur MLA Sunder Sham Arora.

The alliance was playing politics in the name of religion. The SAD leaders, who claim to be crusaders of the state are the ones who promoted terrorism.

“Akali’s ally NDA was asking Punjab to give water to Haryana. It is clear is that the SAD-BJP was misleading the people,” he said.

Commenting upon SAD’s role during the dark days of terrorism, he said, “At a time when there was massacres everyday, none of them ever ventured out of their homes while Congress workers and leaders were giving their lives for the people,” he added.

CLP leader Charanjit Singh Channi said, “The state government has failed to provide basic facilities to the public.”

Vice- chairman of the National SC Commission Dr Raj Kumar Verka urged the workers to work together to defeat the SAD-BJP combine.

MLA Arora thanked the leadership of the party and workers present.
