Fatehgarh Sahib: Punjab Pardesh Congress Committee former president H S Hanspal said the Congress would announce ticket for Punjab Assembly elections at an appropriate time. He said the party command would be under PPCC chief Amarinder Singh. Hanspal stated this while addressing a political rally of Congress workers at Amloh. He said the party manifesto was being prepared keeping in mind all sections of society.
The PPCC vice-president, Lal Singh, said the SAD was not a Panthic party but only a political party, like others. He said the SAD always tried to woo voters in the name of Sikh Panth. He said it was the Amarinder Singh government which had given due respect to all religions.
