Ludhiana : Congress leader Sunil Jakhar has said that given the worsening law and order situation, Deputy CM Sukhbir Badal must step down, particularly after CM Parkash Singh Badal has contradicted Sukhbir on the ISI hand in the attack on RSS leader Jagdish Gagneja.

“This raises a serious question as the CM has expressed no-confidence in his Home Minister. Sukhbir must step down as Deputy CM or at least stay away from the Home Ministry,” he said.

Slight improvement in Gagneja’s condition

RSS leader Brig Jagdish Gagneja continued to be critical despite slight improvement. This was stated by Dr GS Wander, Director of Hero DMC Heart Institute. He said Gagneja was still on life-support system. He continues to suffer from high fever.
