Abohar: Minister for Food and Supply Adesh Pratap Singh Kairon’s claims of making the Blue Card scheme transparent fall flat after the Congress found “undated” documents and prescribed application forms, in violation of norms, at the Sub Divisional Magistrate’s (SDM) office. Sanjeev Tarika, a representative of Congress leader Sunil Jakhar, visited the SDM office and found some documents “not genuine”. The staff at the SDM office told Sunil that 1,200 forms — submitted last month through Congress councillors — had not been processed so far. Jakhar said the SAD-BJP government was politicising the Blue Card scheme and demanded a probe into a “card scam” by judge of the high court.
