AMRITSAR: Even as former Rajya Sabha MP Navjot Singh Sidhu has kept everyone guessing about his future plans, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Thursday said it was Sidhu’s decision to quit the Rajya Sabha and it would be entirely his call to join the party.
Party’s Punjab affairs incharge Sanjay Singh said it was now up to Sidhu when he would join the AAP.
“His joining the AAP will benefit us and Punjab,” he said.
Sanjay Singh, who was answering a query on Sidhu, also made it clear that only person from their family would get the ticket, if his MLA wife also joins the AAP.
On reports that the deal between Sidhu and the AAP was not getting matured, Sanjay said: “I will not like to divulge into details and arrangements. We will welcome him (Sidhu) whenever he joins the Aam Aadmi Party .”
