CHANDIGARH: In an attempt to corner the Aam Aadmi Party on controversies involving its leaders, the Punjab BJP has come down heavily on party’s national convener Arvind Kejriwal on the eve of latter’s four-day Punjab campaign beginning Thursday.
“After the sex-tape scandal involving AAP’s Delhi minister Sandeep Kumar, the party has faced another embarrassment in Punjab with its observer Vijay Chauhan being accused of sexually exploiting a party worker in Sangrur,” Punjab BJP chief Vijay Sampla said in a statement here on Wednesday.
Sampla also posed seven questions to Kejriwal, saying Kejriwal claim to be a champion of democratic rights, then why does he throw out party’s senior leaders like a dictator? Sampla said Kejriwal needed to explain why his ministers and AAP leaders were involved in fake degrees, domestic violence and sex-scandals.
He said the Delhi CM should clarify his stand on water-sharing issue as he claimed himself to be a champion of the Punjabi cause.
