Patiala : Friday turned out be a day of big surprise with Sucha Singh Chhotepur and Pargat Singh meeting suspended Member Parliament from Patiala, Dr Dharamvira Gandhi.

The trio held in camera meeting at Dr Gandhi’s residence that last for short while. Speculations are rife that meeting took place to create a common platform for launching fourth front for upcoming Punjab assembly elections.

As Chhotepur and Pargat left in a hurry, Dr Gandhi admitted that steps are being taken to form fourth front in Punjab composing of likeminded people.

Dr Gandhi added that so far he has been contacted by leaders from Swaraj Party, Jai Jawan Jai Kissan Party, Punjab Lok Dal Party, Apna Punjab Front and the Aam Punjab Volunteer Front to explore formation of fourth front to give a befitting reply to other parties in Punjab.

He claimed that besides Pargat and Chhotepur, Prof Manjit Singh from Swaraj Party is in constant touch with him and talks are continuing to set up Maha Gath bandhan in state.

Dr Gandhi quipped that SAD, Congress and AAP in Punjab have failed to protect interests of state and its citizens.

But when his attention was drawn towards the fact that he was still a part and parcel of AAP as party has only suspended him and not sacked him, Dr Gandhi stated that he is doing nothing wrong by joining fourth front.

Dr Gandhi quipped that in today’s meeting they have exchanged vision paper for Punjab prepared by him.
