Jalandhar : Charanjit Channi, Congress Legislature Party Leader, today alleged that AAP national convener Arvind Kejriwal had been misusing funds from the Delhi exchequer on publicity for making political gains in other states.

Showing RTIdocuments, Channi — who was in Jalandhar on the third day of his ‘Jawani Sambhal Yatra’ — warned the people that if AAP came to power in Punjab, Kejriwal would use Punjab funds for his party’s elections in Goa and Gujarat.

He claimed, “No party uses the funds meant for the welfare of one state for self-promotion in another state. Our party, on the contrary, will use all funds in a transparent manner.”

Channi alleged that the man who called himself ‘aam aadmi’ withdrew Rs 13.43 lakh as the CM’s salary from February 14, 2015 till August 2016.
