Muktsar : Indian Youth Congress chief- cum- Gidderbaha MLA Amrinder Singh ‘Raja Warring’ alleged that a few youths, including son of SAD Gidderbaha constituency incharge Hardeep Singh ‘Dimpy Dhillon’, tried to create panic among residents during the Shaheed Bhagat Singh Gidderbaha Cricket Premier League at Doda village here late this evening.

Warring claimed that Prabhjot Singh, alias Pavvy, son of Dhillon, Sukhtaj Singh and Harjagpreet Singh raised slogans and Harisharan Singh opened fire into the air to create panic among spectators. Their team Tilaknagar Gidderbaha had won the match against the Peori team.

“I lodged a complaint on 181 police service,” said Warring. Warring has organised this tournament, which started on November 3 and will conclude on November 13. We did not raise any objection on the participation of Dimpy’s son and his associates thinking that they will be sportspersons. However, they disturbed the law and order situation,” said Warring.

Dhillon said, “I heard that some people opened fire into the air, but my son has no involvement in this controversy.”

Muktsar SSP Gurpreet Singh Gill said, “We are in the process of registering a case against Harisharan Singh.”
