‘APP’ urges ‘AAP’ to organise protest at Parliament House

Patiala : The Apna Punjab Party (APP) on Friday urged Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) to organise dharna against SC’s verdict over SYL’s issue in front of the Parliament in New Delhi instead of Kapuri. As the Kapuri village has been suffering since 1982 starting with the Akali Dal’s Dharam Yudh Morcha.

Joga Singh Chappar, a party leader stated that by organising such protest at Kapuri, all the political parties will focus on Chandigarh or New Delhi and desist from making village Kapuri as this village has become battle field through such protests and Demonstrations.

He also urged the administration to impose a blanket ban over organising such kind of protests specifically in this area by any of the political party to take the mileage out of this issue.

Making his party’s stand clear over the issue, he said that our party has also stood to fight for safeguarding the interest of the state and its people but it will lodge its protest in a finer way.

Earlier Joga Singh Chappar also led a delegation of its party including leaders Amarinder Singh Toor, Kirpal Singh, Hardeep Singh Ghumana, Satinder Singh Mandouli, Gurpreet Singh Jogipur, Kuldeep Singh, Harjinder Singh and Ram Singh Chappar, and submitted a memorandum to the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM), Rajpura, Harpreet Singh Sudaan demanding imposing a blanket ban in Ghanour area restraining all the political parties from organising any kind of protest dharna cum demonstration as such exercises disturb the peaceful situation of the area and people of the area undergoes suffering.
