AAP’s social media head arrested at Patiala

Patiala : Aam Aadami Party’s (AAP) social media in charge Sandeep Kumar Bandhum resident of Old Lal Bagh area along with another man Karan Kumar was arrested by Patiala police concerning a pending case and was sent to the jail.

Atulai Bahadur, a resident of the Tafazalpura area approached the police a few months ago with a complaint levelling charges against Bandhu for posting a wrong post on the Facebook against Bahadur.

The police on the basis of the complaint have registered an FIR under section 65 of the IT Act at the Civil Lines police station. Later the case was also forwarded to the Cyber Crime Cell for further investigation and the cell found it a fit case for the registration of the case and action against the accused. The cell found Sandeep Kumar Bandhu and Karan Kumar guilty for the crime.

Police arrested Sandeep Kumar Bandhu and Karan Kumar and produced them before the court who sent them to the judicial custody. After a medical examination the police have sent to Central jail.

Washington : The Indian-American community in the US has urged the Trump administration to “fully support” India’s decision to revoke the constitutional provision that accorded special status to Jammu and Kashmir and to continue to exert pressure on Pakistan to end its support to cross-border terrorism.
