Chandigarh: Reacting to the latest revolt in Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) by former Indian women hockey team captain Rajbir Kaur, Punjab Congress on Monday said it was evident that the corruption in the party had assumed gigantic proportions, threatening to corrupt the very fabric of the state, which is already reeling under the destructive forces unleashed by Badals.
Congress leaders said that corruption in AAP is so deep-rooted that no genuine person or worker could hope to get a ticket, leaving only dishonest people to remain in the electoral fray on behalf of AAP. Kejriwal and his party have scaled the heights of moral bankruptcy, said the Punjab Congress, urging the people of Punjab not to allow AAP to further destroy state’s democratic fibre.
