CHANDIGARH: Punjab Congress president Capt Amarinder Singh on Monday announced to review all decisions taken by the Badal government in the last three months, accusing the ruling alliance of circumventing rules and norms to push their electoral agenda.

Amarinder lambasted the Badals for bypassing all political and administrative norms to pass a series of legislations through a special session of the assembly just weeks ahead of announcement of polls.

The game plan of the Akalis had been thoroughly exposed and only a total rout in the polls could really teach them a lesson, said Amarinder, reiterating his promise to review every decision of the Badals and put them in jail if found guilty of any “criminal act or misdemeanour”.

He also issued a warning that accountability will be fixed and action will be taken against all civil servants found facilitating such “violations”.

The summoning of the special session of the Assembly on Monday to pass legislations aimed at doling out sops to the voters ahead of polls showed the panic and desperation of the government, said Capt Amarinder.
