Dr Rinwa stated that incase the party ignores his candidature, he is all set to contest as an independent, the way he did in 1992 and will prove his worth.
MP Sher Singh Ghubaya was furious about being sidelined in the party and particularly in his constituency Jalalabad by OSD of Dy CM Satinderjeet Singh Manta from 2012 onwards. Son of MP, Varinder Ghubaya confirmed over the phone that they are seeking Congress ticket from Fazilka and the ball is in the court of Central Election Committee of Congress.
Ghubaya added that PPCC chief Captain Amarinder Singh has confirmed that win ability will be the sole criterion and incase differences pop up with Dr Rinwa than things will be settled at party level.
Moving a step further, Dr Rinwa named Congress MLA from Guruharsahai, Rana Sodhi behind all the mess and entry of turncoats into the Congress.
Dr Rinwa quipped that residents of Fazilka segment cannot be fooled by two time Akali MP and MLA Sher Singh Ghubaya.
