Mujlis Ahrar Islam Hind organisation extends supports to Congress

Ludhiana : Ahead of assembly elections, the political wing of Muslim community- Mujlis Ahrar Islam Hind announced support to Congress party after meeting with Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee Chief Captain Amarinder Singh.
Senior leader of Mujlis Maulana Usmaan Rehmani said that Shiromani Akali Dal and Bhartiya Janta Party have played with the sentiments of Muslim community. The Congress party and its chief Captain Amarinder have assured representation and respect to Muslim community after the formation of Congress government.
Usmaan said that the political parties promised graveyards for the Muslims but the Muslims want facilities to live not better place after dying. The Congress is a secular party and they have decided to support them in Assembly elections, added Usmaan. Usmaan further said that Akali Dal-BJP have misruled the state while AAP has no agenda. The only option of Congress party is left for the people of Punjab.
