Property dealers remind Capt of poll promises

Jalandhar : Reminding the newly elected Congress governmen, Punjab Colonisers and Property Dealers Association on Saturday said that Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh should fulfill the promises that he made with the colonisers in the election manifesto.

The association president said that the congress government has included all the major demands of the colonizers in their election manifesto and now it was time to fulfill them.

Addressing a press conference, President of the association Kultar Singh Jogi said that he campaigned for the congress and mobilized other colonizers to vote for congress. “We are hopeful that the congress government would help revive the property dealers business in the state”, he added.

Among the election manifesto promises, Kultar highlighted that the congress has promised to legalise unathorised colonies set up before March 2013. “The congress has also promised the constitution of a State Board for colonizers and property dealers, launching single window system and decreasing the collector rates”, he maintained.

Kultar Singh Jogi said that the colonizers were hopeful that their business would flourish under Capt Amarinder’s government. “Colonisers and the property dealers have suffered a lot under the previous SAD-BJP government in the state”, he maintained.
