Amarinder to meet Prez, PM today

Chandigarh : Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh will meet President Pranab Mukherjee and Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday during his visit to the national capital.

Amarinder will visit Delhi on Wednesday for the first time after becoming the Chief Minister, Raveen Thukral, Media Advisor to the Chief Minister said here on Tuesday night.

He will meet Modi at the Parliament House office of the Prime Minister late in the afternoon on Wednesday, Thukral said.

The Chief Minister will meet the President at Rashtrapati Bhawan in the evening, he said.

Amarinder will also meet Finance Minister Arun Jaitley at latter’s residence in the morning, Thukral said.

All the three meetings are stated to be ‘courtesy calls.’
