Amritsar : The newly elected Member of Parliament(MP) of Amritsar and veteran Congress leader, Gurjeet Singh Aujla on Saturday asked the national convener of Aam Aadmi Party and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal that where has the exit poll done by e-voter vanished which ensured over 100 plus seats for AAP in Punjab assembly polls.

Aujla, while speaking to Daily Post stated that the electorate always gave its mandate to those who proved themselves. “During the past couple of months, Congress MP from Amritsar, Amarinder Singh did a lot for the area and as a result people had reposed their faith in Congress”, said Aujla.

He claimed that Kejriwal had nothing to offer to Punjabis and was simply befooling them on one pretext or the other.

“ While in Punjab, Kejriwal asserted that his party was for protecting the interest of Punjabis and did not allow anyone to share the rivers’ water of the state but when he was out of Punjab, he stated that the neighbouring states too deserved their share of water”, added Aujla.

He said that residents of Delhi had once offered a chance to Kejriwal and his team to prove their mettle, but the latter flopped badly.

To a question about wiping drugs from Majha region, as promised by Congress leaders before assembly elections Aujla quipped that state government is all set to formulate a stringent law to deal with those who were involved in making the narcotics available to innocent youths of the state.
