Bajwa seeks Modi’s help in completion of Qadian-Beas link

New Delhi: Rajya Sabha MP and former PPCC President Partap Singh Bajwa on Tuesday called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi and requested for his intervention in completion of Qadian-Beas rail link.

The rail link once completed will prove a boon for border belt and will be helpful to bring pilgrims to Qadian which is the headquarter of Ahmediya community as well as Dera Beas which is visited by devotees from all over the country and abroad.

He also discussed a proposal of setting up a second line of defence in border villages of Punjab by recruiting youngsters aged between 18-40 years who act as an extra layer of security and side by side will offer employment.
