Manpreet Badal commences thanks-giving tour of Bathinda

Bathinda : Punjab Finance Minister Manpreet Singh Badal started his thanks-giving tour in Bathinda urban constituency on Sunday. He held first interaction with people of wards 47 and 48 represented by Jagroop Singh Gill and Ladoo MC. The entire unit of local Congress committee was present on the occasion.

He will be holding around 20 get-together meetings in the city. No government official is accompanying him neither any security personnel. It is said, that Deputy Commissioner and SSP have called on him, but he politely asked them stay away.

Earlier in the morning, Manpreet visited Rose garden and met the joggers and other people. He also interacted with the people at Tinkoni at a tea stall, where morning joggers converge and shared tea etc.

Speaking with the people at the first thanks-giving meeting in ward no 47, Manpreet reiterated his commitments and promises he made during his election campaign in this area. He said he very well remembered all the commitments and will fulfill them in the future. “We have already started working on it and result will be out within next few months,” he stated.

He said, “The work on shifting of solid waste management plant has been started. A high level committee has been constituted to take the matter to a logical end. The matter will be solved in three months.”

Manpreet assured the people, that they will be involved in running affairs, related with development activities in the city.
