CHANDIGARH: Congress deputy leader in the Lok Sabha Capt Amarinder Singh on Sunday asked Punjab chief minister Parkash Singh Badal to clarify his stand on the issue of federalism against the backdrop of his attempts to force the Centre to overrule a Haryana legislation.

Chanidgarh : Punjab Congress president Partap Singh Bajwa today said the Akal Takht Jathedar’s timely intervention had saved the Haryana Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (HSGMC) row from getting aggravated. He said Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal must accept the reality that the HSGMC "is now a legal entity".
