Chandigarh : On the basis of fresh evidences during investigations carried into the Bargari cases by the Special Investigation Team (SIT) of the Punjab Police, the Congress government, led by Capt Amarinder Singh, will seek reinvestigation into the cases whose closure report the CBI has recently filed.

Chandigarh : The Punjab Government had invited suggestions from eminent Sikh Scholars in connection with the celebration of 550th Parkash Purb of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji. It was in this context that a meeting was held today at the Punjab Bhawan by the Cabinet Ministers S. Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa and Mr. Charanjit Singh Channi with the scholars. The meeting saw the participation of prominent scholars such as Dr. Prithipal Singh Kapoor, Dr. S.P.
