AMERICAN COUPLE ADOPTS 4-YR-OLD DISABLED GIRL

LUDHIANA: A couple from America adopted a 4 year-old physically disabled girl from Swami Ganga Nand Bhuriwale International Foundation, Dham Talwandi Khurd on Wednesday.

Around four years ago, a newborn physically disabled girl child was found abandoned at the Panghura installed at Bal Bhawan, Ludhiana, following which the baby was handed over to the foundation.

MC commissioner GK Singh was present during the adoption process. He said the foundation was working towards a noble cause, as they were taking care of abandoned children at the Bal Bhawan. He said all social organisations should come forward to weed out social evils from society.

Kuldeep Singh of SGB Bal Ghar informed that this child would get better treatment also there, as she was still unable to walk. He said American couple already had a daughter and they wanted to take complete care of this girl too.
