Chandigarh: The SAD president and Punjab Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal said here Friday that by fielding a two-time loser Captain Amarinder Singh to lead the party in Punjab, the Congress has already admitted that it is no longer in the game in the coming state Assembly elections. “Captain has already created a record by ensuring back to back defeats for the Congress in Punjab. Now he is set to create a hat trick of defeats. He is a man of history and wants to be remembered for these records. We welcome a loudmouth rather than a man of action at the helm of Congress affairs,” said the SAD president in a statement here. “Like in the last two assembly elections, Captain will talk big, use choicest abuses against us and then start blaming everybody else in Punjab Congress for the inevitable defeat in the elections and disappear into cooler climes to enjoy retirement,” he added.
