CHANDIGARH: Voters could be seen queuing up to exercise their franchise as polling began for the by-election in two assembly seats of Patiala and Talwandi Sabo in Punjab Thursday. The fate of 15 candidates will be decided in the by-election.

Ferozepur : In a first-of-its-kind initiative, more than 150 jobless youths in border villages have been given eco-friendly rickshaws. Besides, soft loans have been sanctioned to another 100 youths from “non-banking villages” in the district.
