AMRITSAR: Three persons, including a sitting Akali sarpanch, were killed and as many injured in an exchange of fire between two Akali groups over a land dispute in Lodhi Gujjar village near Lopoke on Friday.

Sangrur : State general secretary of the Punjab Youth Congress Poonam Kangra today alleged that the state government had sent substandard wheat to anganwari centres in the district. She said the quality of wheat was not fit for human consumption.
