PATIALA : Responding to the desperate pleas of the five students selected for a world archery event, Punjab chief minister Captain Amarinder Singh, on Tuesday, directed the university vice-chancellor to immediately sanction the necessary funds to enable the archers to participate in the event, an official spokesman of the university said.
