Cong extends kisan campaign till Nov 4

CHANDIGARH: The Congress has decided to extend its ‘karza-kurki khatam, fasal di poori rakam’ campaign till November 4. A party spokesman said the campaign has been extended keeping in view the good response from the farmers. About 10-lakh more proformas (maangpatras) will be distributed in the next 10 days, taking the total number of households reached to about 40 lakh. Till date, more than 9,000 villages and urban clusters have been covered under the outreach programme.
