Chandigarh - Days after the Punjab police claimed to have busted terror modules and solved most targeted killing cases in the state, Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh has asked the DGP to work out a scheme to give awards and rewards to those involved in solving the cases.

Chandigarh – Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh has ordered clearance of all pending paddy procurement payment of the farmers within 48 hours, following enhancement of the Cash Credit Limit (CCL) by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). The Chief Minister has made it clear that no delay or laxity in this regard would be tolerated, an official spokesperson said. The Chief Minister’s directive came after RBI issued authorisation of CCL enhancement to Rs 33,800.22 crore for the procurement of paddy up to the end of November, this year, for the current Kharif Marketing season.
