Chandigarh : Revenue Minister Bikram Singh Majithia was the main target of the Opposition Congress in the Vidhan Sabha proceedings today. After the privilege motion moved by the Leader of Opposition Sunil Jakhar was kept in abeyance by Speaker Charanjit Singh Atwal, the Congress decided to make the best use of the debate on the Governor’s address by cleverly steering the discussion on the drug issue.

SANGRUR: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has demanded a proble into the allegation against former Congress MLA Sukhpal Singh Khaira. Party’s Sangrur MP Bhagwant Mann, who was in Cheema on Monday along with other AAP leaders, said, “Only fair probe could decide whether the allegations of Khaira’s links with drug smugglers are true or not. Khaira should also extend his cooperation for the probe.”
