Muktsar : Irate over the choked sewerage, residents of Goniana Road in Muktsar have put up a banner stating that they are “boycotting” SAD Muktsar constituency in charge Kanwarjit Singh “Rozy Barkandi”. They have also expressed resentment against the executive engineer of the Public Health Department.

Sangrur : Congress workers, led by former MLA Surinderpal Singh Sibia, today protested the delay in the commencement of a multi-crore sewerage project in Sangrur city. Party workers gathered near the stone of the sewerage project laid outside the zila parishad complex and raised slogans against the SAD-BJP government.
