CHANDIGARH/NEW DELHI: Amid heightened tension between India and Pakistan in the aftermath of the Pulwama terror attack and subsequent developments, Punjab local bodies minister Navjot Singh Sidhu on Thursday favoured dialogue and diplomatic pressure in seeking a long-term solution to terror outfits operating across the border.

CHANDIGARH: The committee of ministers constituted under the Health and Family Welfare Minister Brahma Mohindra held a meeting with the leaders of the Punjab State Ministerial Service Union at Punjab Bhawan Chandigarh. Committee agreed to give 7% DA from February 2019 onwards. However, the decision to give an airfare of dearness allowance will be decided by the government in the coming time. The government employees, who were recruited after 01-01-2004, have decided to constitute a committee to implement the old pension scheme.
