CHANDIGARH: Taking a step further in his decision to float a Punjab-centric political outfit, Patiala MP Dr Dharamvira Gandhi, who was suspended by the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), has announced that five other political groups in the state have decided to be part of the yet-tobe-named front that will field candidates in the next year’s assembly polls.

A fortnight ago, when the first list of 19 candidates was announced by the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), its state unit convener, Sucha Singh Chhotepur, showed displeasure over the choices, and decided to meet party chief Arvind Kejriwal for changes. The second list of 13 candidates was announced last week, but Chhotepur is still waiting to meet Kejriwal.

CHANDIGARH: Aam Aadmi Party’s (AAP) Punjab convener Sucha Singh Chhotepur, who has been voicing displeasure over choice of candidates, finds himself at the receiving end of a sting operation. While a video apparently shows a man leaving a cash packet with Chhotepur, there is also an audio file that has him “accepting” that the party’s Sangrur MP, Bhagwant Mann, has a drinking problem.
