BARGARI (KOTKAPURA): Amid a rising tide of public anger, Sikh radical outfits on Sunday declared an open war on the Parkash Singh Badal government and the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) in a ninepoint resolution to intensify protests against sacrilege of Guru Granth Sahib.

CHANDIGARH: The Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) on Saturday launched a scathing attack on Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, saying that one, who could not control rapes in the national capital, was trying to stoke communal passions in Punjab by visiting Amritsar and Faridkot. In a statement here, senior SAD leaders including Maheshinder Singh Grewal and Dr Daljit Singh Cheema said that Kejriwal’s visit to Punjab reflected a new low in politics in the country.
