PANCHKULA/CHANDIGARH:Haryana chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Thursday afternoon blamed Punjab Police for delay in arrest of rape convict Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh’s adopted daughter Honeypreet Insan, hours after Haryana’s Panchkula police took her to Bathinda and conducted raids to verify her alleged hideouts over the month that she remained on the run. Accused of sedition for instigating riots in Panchkula after a court pronounced the conviction of the Dera Sacha Sauda chief on August 25, Honeypreet was arrested on Tuesday by the Panchkula police reportedly in Punjab’s Zirakpur town bordering Haryana.

Ex-minister Langah excommunicated from Sikh panth. A week after he was booked in a rape case, former Akali Minister Sucha Singh Langah was on Thursday excommunicated by the Sikh clergy from the Sikh Panth.
