AMRITSAR: The Congress on Wednesday sought disqualification of Swaran Singh Salaria, the BJP-SAD candidate for the October 11 Gurdaspur Lok Sabha seat bypoll, accusing him of concealing facts about a rape case registered against him in 2014 in his nomination papers.

GURDASPUR: Evading arrest after a rape case was filed by a Punjab Police woman constable on September 29, former Akali Dal minister Sucha Singh Langah on Wednesday surrendered in a Gurdaspur court. He was remanded in police custody till October 9.
