Amritsar: Congress Legislative Party (CLP) leader Sunil Jakhar on Sunday slammed the Punjab government for not releasing compensation to the state farmers affected by unseasonal rain. “The cultivation in 3-lakh hectares was damaged in Punjab and government has not released compensation to farmers till date,” he expressed these views in a media briefing at Amritsar on Sunday.
