NEW DELHI/CHANDIGARH: On a request by Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee (PPCC) president Partap Singh Bajwa, the Prime Minister Manmohan Singh today asked the Union Law Minister Kapil Sibal to extend complete legal support in the Supreme Court to Sikh farmers from Punjab and Haryana who are facing eviction from their land in Kutch area of Gujarat.

New Delhi : Union Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde today said the Bill for the creation of a separate Telangana state would not be introduced in the forthcoming monsoon session of Parliament. The new state would, however, come into existence in the next six months, he added.
