Amritsar is known for its rich tradition and variety of food. Speaking at the inaugural event of the food festival being held at Gobindgarh Fort, Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh said, “A large number of tourists visit this place on a daily basis. It is important to promote food among the tourists. There should be a food street here on the lines of famous Lahore Food Street.”
