Jalandhar: Punjab Congress Committee chief Captain Amarinder Singh on Thursday denied that there was any deal between Congress and Navjot Singh Sidhu who had quit BJP recently. Asked about the deal between Sidhu and AAP, he asked the media to ask the question to these two parties only as he did not know why their deal had not matured.

Baba Bakala (Amritsar) : Punjab Congress leaders on Thursday declared a war on drugs and Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) and unanimously resolved to throw out the SAD-BJP government in the state as it had damaged and devastated Punjab beyond redemption. The sentiment was summed up best by the PCC president Capt Amarinder, saying, “I want to see the sparkling smile back on every Punjabi’s face.”
