Chandigarh : The state Congress today sought the immediate intervention of state Governor Kaptan Singh Solanki to facilitate the release of sugarcane arrears owed to farmers, amounting to about Rs 700 crore. A delegation of Congress leaders, led by PPCC chief Partap Singh Bajwa, submitted a memorandum to the Governor this evening.
