Chandigarh : Former Chief Minister Rajinder Kaur Bhattal today accused the Modi government of insulting the 1984 anti-Sikh riot victims by retracting on its commitment to give Rs 5 lakh to each of the affected families.

CHANDIGARH: Ahead of elections to local bodies in the state, the opposition Congress in Punjab is trying to add fuel to the “rift” between the ruling allies, Shiromani Akali Dal and the BJP.
