Raikot : A pal of gloom descended on a family of Bhaini Baringa village last night following the alleged murder of their two close relatives in Manila. The deceased, settled in Tagma city in Philippines, were allegedly shot dead by assailants on Saturday. They were in the money lending business.

Patiala : Days after the arrest of dismissed Punjab Police DSP Jagdish Singh Bhola in the multimillion drug smuggling racket, the Patiala police has identified over 30 non-resident Indians (NRIs), who acted as active and passive couriers for him. The police is planning to take the Interpol’s help to nab these suspects.

Fresno (California) : A Punjabi couple, Harmandeep Singh and Kirandeep Kaur, was found dead in Fresno city of California. Their bodies were found in a house on Celeste near Bryan in Northwest Fresno.
